Summer Songwriting Camps

At Brooklyn Music Factory’s summer camp, kids ages 4-11 join bands and spend their days writing songs, playing music games, and more in our fully equipped studios. In addition, campers enjoy free time at the park every day, getting lots of fresh air and physical activity.

We also have a Counselor-in-Training program for music-loving middle schoolers.

Grow Community

Kids join a band and learn to work together in a supportive group setting. Campers are placed in small, age-appropriate bands—no more than 6 kids per group—to write songs and play music together. All experience levels are welcome, beginners included.

NURTURE CREATIVITY

Using our game-based curriculum, campers write lots of original songs with their bands. Kids LOVE writing their own songs and are so proud and excited when they get to play and perform those songs with their friends. 

BUILD CONFIDENCE

All campers play their original songs for each other at the end-of-week gig on Fridays. Kids love performing together because they are building confidence and also celebrating their accomplishments. The gigs are live-streamed and recorded so families can join the fun.

PRICING

5-Day Camp

  • • $830/week ($798/week if you register before Jan 31)
  • • Siblings will receive a 5% discount.

Extended Day (optional)

  • • Early Drop-Off (8:00 am-9:00 am) - $65/week or $13/day
  • • Late Pickup (3pm-6pm) - $198/week or $39/day

Cancellation Policy

  • • No refunds will be issued.
  • • Cancellation received 30+ days prior to first day of camp = 100% credit
  • • Cancellation received 14-29 days prior to first day of camp = 50% credit
  • • Cancellation received 13 or fewer days prior to first day of camp = 0% credit
