Who ?

Whats Included

Warm Up Game – We’ll start the class by introducing the music concept for the day with a fun warm up game. Our music concept is based in either rhythm, melody, or harmony!

Sing-Along – Everyone sings & learns fun movements along with basic music techniques. We connect the lyrics to movement so we can feel the music in our bodies!

Rock Pit – This is where the music concept of the day is reinforced through interactive music games focusing on learning a new part of our song. MiniKeys students learn or write a new song together every 3-4 weeks!

We focus on the piano for melody, drums for rhythm, guitar for harmony & the microphone for voice & lyrics. MiniKeys students learn or write a new song together every 3-4 weeks. The MiniKeys BAND then plays it together on each instrument, not only learning what they’re doing individually, but how their part fits into the larger band setting.

Ten monthly installments of $171

Note: Tuition covers weekly lessons—except holidays—from the time you enroll through the end of the school year in June. Students enrolled for the full 10-month session are scheduled for 34 lessons or classes.

For students who enroll after the start of the session, tuition will be prorated to reflect the number of scheduled lessons or classes remaining in the school year.

Our campers are grouped into bands according to age. There are three types of bands :

  • MiniKeys (age 4-5)
  • Jam Band 101 (ages 6-8)
  • Rock Write Record (ages 9-12).

(Monday-Friday afternoons 3-6pm)

Covid Policies

Covid Policies

BMF continues to monitor guidelines and updates from the CDC, as well as state and local health officials, and is maintaining strict health measures to keep campers and staff safe.

We will enforce these safety policies to the best of our ability, as we work to ensure campers have fun making music and playing games together. We will also continue to monitor guidelines from the government and will update our policies as needed.

Brooklyn Music Factory will

  • Require all on-site employees to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
  • Require all campers ages 5 and older to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. (Note: Students turning 5 will have three (3) months from their date of eligibility to submit proof of vaccination.)
  • Require face masks inside in classes with 4-year olds. (Masks are optional otherwise. We will have extra masks available, in case a camper’s mask is lost or damaged.)
  • Install air purifiers and high-grade HEPA filters in all rooms. Open windows and doors when possible.
  • Maintain social distancing and small cohorts of campers that do not commingle.
  • Enforce regular hand washing and use of hand sanitizer throughout the day.
  • Sanitize shared spaces and equipment regularly throughout the day and week.
  • Limit the number of people inside the studios at all times. Pick-up and drop-off will be outside, and parents, caregivers and siblings will not be allowed in the building. Incorporate lots of outdoor time into the daily schedule.
  • Require social distancing when campers are eating lunch and snacks. All food must be brought from home.
  • Require daily temperature checks and health screening from all staff and campers.
  • Require families to keep campers home if they are showing any sign of illness, have been in close contact with somebody testing positive COVID within the past 10 days or are under quarantine for any reason.
  • Require BMF employees to stay home if they are showing any sign of illness, have been in close contact with somebody testing positive COVID within the past 10 days or are under quarantine for any reason.
