Are you a music lover? Maybe you’re a total beginner or you played when you were a kid and want to get back into it? Or, maybe you are an experienced player and are ready to level up your musicianship? We offer both private lessons and band classes, and would love to make music together!
It’s time to make your dream of playing in a band come true! At Brooklyn Music Factory, our adult band program is all about collaborating with other music lovers. Bands meet weekly to rehearse with one of our supportive teachers. Some bands write originals, others learn to play their favorite songs. All the bands are super fun and super encouraging. No experience required. All levels welcome. Bands come together twice a year to share and perform their music.
Music lessons aren’t just for kids! At BMF, you can revisit the instrument from your childhood, take the next step on your musical journey, or simply try out something new. Your teacher will work with you to outline goals that get you excited and meet you where you are. Choose the music that YOU are interested in learning, and BMF will help you make your music dreams come true. (Or at least learn something new, while also having fun.) Lessons available on piano, guitar, bass, drums, and voice. Students come together twice a year to perform and share their music.

We’ve had such a great experience at BMF, my daughter has strengthened her confidence with her voice lessons, she loves it. BMF is the best thing that ever happened to my son, Christopher!!! He loves it so much! He is always excited to go for any occasion. It fosters an environment of kindness, friendship and comradery. This is a place for budding musicians that are internally driven by their love of music and the joy they get from developing their skills and collaborating with others. Our multi-instrument musician has been taught and mentored by BMF for almost 10 years.Posted on Tata WetzelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Extremely nice group, my son Harrison is 6 years old he was very shy kid since we started coming here he became so open sings everywhere and dance. Everyone is very happy and positive, vibe is uplifting. Highly recommend anyonePosted on LoriTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just picked our kiddo (4 year old) up from his second day of Spring Break camp at BMF. Yesterday he said it was the best camp ever. I wanted to make sure before I shared my review, so I asked again today, and he said he had even more fun! We have been a BMF family for many years with my older kids (and have only great things to say about the music lessons!), but this is our first round of camp with a little one. He tends to be shy and anxious to try new things, but he said he loved the teachers and he made friends. He has been humming his original song all afternoon, and his only complaint is that eventually we have to go back to school and cannot go back to camp until this summer. I love the flexibility they offer in scheduling and that they spend time outside. He is happy and tired at the end of the day...I cannot ask for more than that!Posted on Teddy GageTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Before you book this camp, you should be aware of 2 things: This is really not a camp for older kids. It skews towards 4-8 at the oldest. Average age is about 6. Second, they have an extremely rigid cancellation policy - once you enroll, unless you cancel with more than 2 weeks notice you will get no refund on the full booking fee. My daughter woke up with a fever and tested positive for Covid the morning of camp and we obviously decided not to bring her. The camp refused to reschedule or even offer a 50% discount on a future session. I’d recommend checking out School of Rock instead.Posted on Lynn DoanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We took our daughter here for a single-day song-writing camp and she had an absolute blast. We worried about whether she’d feel alone since she went in not knowing anyone else and having never stepped foot in the music factory. But she eased right in.Posted on Matthew LowenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our kiddo LOVES Brooklyn Music Factory. The counselors are fun, knowledgeable, and bring out the best in the kiddos. The livestreams of their performances is brilliant. It's been wonderful to see our kiddo grow in their music making and confidence at all the same time. Thanks BMF!!
After the initial two-week trial period, you can cancel anytime before the end of the school year with 30 days’ notice. Once notice is given, you will be charged for the remaining classes scheduled in your final 30 days.
